Dr. Heather MacRae, ND is a graduate of the University of Guelph and, twenty years later, the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. In her years of practice as a Naturopathic Doctor, Heather has developed interests in acupuncture, botanical medicine, nutrition, and caring for individuals with Neurodivergence (specifically ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder).

A Guelph resident for over 30 years, Heather is committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care that is accessible and collaborative. Her work with people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences has deepened her appreciation for the many ways health, neurodiversity, and life, shape well-being.

Heather's love of natural medicine grew from an early appreciation of holistic midwifery care and has evolved into a lifelong passion for growing medicinal plants, preparing botanical remedies, and helping people reconnect with the foundations of health through movement, nourishing food, and meaningful self-care. Her interest in Neurodivergence has come from her own later in life diagnosis of ADHD, and the reverse engineering she’s had to evolve through herself.

Outside the clinic, Heather enjoys gardening, nature photography, writing poetry, making music, and sharing home-cooked meals with family and friends. She believes that wellness is built through acceptance of self, and sustainable, everyday practices. She enjoys helping her patients discover what that looks like for them.
