Psychoeducational Assessment

with a Psychologist

A comprehensive psycho-educational assessment explores how you learn, process information, and solve problems. These evaluations are often required for IEPs, post-secondary accommodations, accessibility supports, or funding applications. We refer out to a Psychologist who is very ADHD & ASD informed and empathetic. The psychologist provides an in-depth, evidence-based assessment along with clear recommendations to help you succeed at school or work.

  • This remote pre-assessment is for anyone in Ontario wondering if their lived experiences align with ADHD or Autism. Completing these initial screenings helps our diagnosticians prepare a formal evaluation centered on your specific history and traits. This process ensures your virtual care is personalized and focused on your unique needs from the very start.

  • During the virtual assessment, we meet through a secure video platform to explore your strengths and challenges. Our Ontario-based diagnostician use neurodiversity-affirming clinical observations and conversation to ensure your experience is accurately captured. This in-depth evaluation is tailored to your pacing, providing a thorough look at your unique cognitive profile.

  • Following the evaluation, we meet online to discuss the findings of your formal ADHD or autism diagnosis. You will receive a detailed clinical report that details your diagnosis and provides a functional framework for understanding your identity. This stage focuses on providing the validation and documentation you need to access support within Ontario.

  • We help you navigate the post-diagnostic support available to you across Ontario. This includes virtual neurodivergent-affirming therapy, ADHD and ASD coaching, or guidance on school and workplace accommodations. Our team remains available to help you implement practical strategies and connect with resources that align with your personal goals and needs.

Who We Are Able to Support

Our centre is designed to support ADHDand Autistic clients, but we are not equipped to provide care for individuals experiencing psychosis, delusions, schizophrenia, or visual or auditory hallucinations. These concerns require a level of clinical support beyond what our practitioners can offer safely to clients.

We include screening questions in our intake process to help identify these symptoms early. If these concerns come up during your work with us, your practitioner will discuss this with you and provide a referral to a more appropriate mental health service.
