Brayden Keeler, MA, RP (Qualifying)
Therapy & Coaching
|
Brayden (she/her) completed her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and provides therapy to individuals and couples with a strong focus on neurodivergence, parenting, and relational wellbeing. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and supports individuals in processing trauma and overwhelming life experiences that continue to impact emotional wellbeing. She has completed Level 2 Gottman Method Training and works with couples navigating communication challenges, emotional disconnection, neurodivergent–neurotypical dynamics, and ongoing conflict cycles.
Diagnosed with ADHD as a young adult, Brayden is deeply attuned to the lived experiences of neurodivergent clients, particularly those whose symptoms were misunderstood or overlooked in childhood. Her approach integrates trauma-informed, person-centered care with Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and a neurodiversity-affirming lens. As a parent to a young child, Brayden brings a compassionate perspective to the unique realities of neurodivergent parents, including burnout, sensory overload, emotional regulation, and the pressure to “mask” within family roles. She works collaboratively with parents to reduce self-stigma, build workable routines, and cultivate confidence in their own strengths and values. Brayden also draws from meaningful experience in the addiction recovery community. With seven years of sobriety and previous work as an Addiction Counsellor, she brings insight into the complex intersections of substance use, neurodivergence, and trauma. She supports clients and families navigating these challenges with empathy, clarity, and an understanding of the systemic barriers that often accompany recovery. Outside the therapy room, Brayden enjoys playing hockey, sewing, embroidering, and taking on new creative projects, embracing her hyperfocus as a source of joy and exploration. |
