Stacey Ivits, MSW, RSW
ADHD & Asperger's/ASD Counselor and Coach

Stacey is a Social Worker specializing in ADHD and ASD and is also a mom with ADHD, raising two kids with spectrum-related conditions. She is comfortable working with families, parents, adults, couples, and with kids or teens.
Stacey earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Toronto in 2011. She has worked in large hospitals in Toronto, in community outpatient centres, and private practice.
Some of Stacey's specializations (and areas she has the most experience in) are:
Learning to appreciate the neurodiverse brain as a Mom has taken time, compassion, and a lot of patience to figure out systems and habits that support everyone going in different directions at warp speed! Helping other neurodiverse families build practices that support each other and their connection to each other is her passion. She is non-judgemental, caring, and humorous.
Stacey has multiple interests and studied a variety of things before focusing on Social Work. She has an honours BA from Wilfrid Laurier University where she double majored in Communication & Global Studies. Stacey loves exploring - everything from travelling, trying new restaurants, and learning new hobbies.
Curiosity and wonder are her superpowers. At this moment, she is trying to discover everything there is to know about Emotion-Coaching for Parents and how best to adapt it for neurodivergent families.
